How do I request money online with PayPal?

To send a PayPal money request, you must open an account with PayPal and confirm your email address. Then you can follow these steps:

From the PayPal app:

  1. Choose Send/Request at the bottom of the screen
  2. Enter the amount of money you want to request and choose a contact
  3. Customize a message and go. Add an emoji or friendly note
  4. The choose Request Now

  2. Scroll through your contact list or type the user's name, email, or phone number
  3. When you find the person, select their name
  4. On the next screen, enter the amount that you want to request and, if you wish, add an emoji or friendly message
  5. Select the Review button and review the amount of money requested and the message you're sending

How do I receive money to my account with PayPal?

To accept the money, you must open a PayPal Balance account and confirm your email address. After that, you can receive money when someone pays to your email address or mobile number. You’ll receive a message through the app letting you know you have money available.
